Matthew Scroggs qualified from the world renowned, Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, Dorset in 2010. Since then, Matthew has treated thousands of patients, of all ages, across 12 different countries and has a strong reputation in elite sport, ranging from Formula 1 to professional rugby, premiership football and international polo.

Considered an expert in his field, Matthew works with a number of celebrities and has consulted for the Saudi-Arabian Royal Family.

Matthew’s chiropractic journey began under the auspices of local chiropractor, Dr Rupert Molloy. After suffering a rugby injury whilst he was a pupil at the Marlborough school, Woodstock, Matthew first met Rupert.

“After injuring my shoulder and in a great deal of pain, I saw Rupert at his clinic in Woodstock. Thanks to Chiropractic I soon recovered from my injury but remained intrigued and curious to find out more about chiropractic”.

Aged just 15 years old, Matthew began regularly observing treatment at the clinic in Woodstock to learn more about the science and art of chiropractic.

“Rupert quickly became my mentor and friend and my decision to become a chiropractor was firmly made”.

After leaving the Marlborough school, Woodstock, Matthew embarked upon a three year BSc (Hons) degree in Human Biology. Following this, Matthew studied for a further four years at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic, Bournemouth, to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

In between clinical postings Matthew returned to the clinic in Woodstock working as a chiropractor where it was first introduced to him.

His growing reputation led to him being invited to join Williams Formula 1 team. Matthew worked as head of human performance for Williams F1 and travelled the world developing the teams healthcare and performance.

When not consulting at the clinics in Stow or Woodstock, Matthew is often found trackside at sporting events where he continues to provide consultancy to a number of F1 drivers and other elite sportsmen and women and celebrities. 

Outside of clinical practice, Matthew leads an active life with his wife, two children and two dogs!

Matthew enjoys a number of sports and fitness activities including rugby, shooting, running and cycling. Matthew and his wife completed the London Marathon for charity and aim to enter further events in the future.

The Woodstock Chiropractor is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and the British Chiropractic Association.
